The tension in your jaw isn't stress.
It's the unexpressed impulses of every time you were told to be quiet, don’t talk back, get over it deposited in your body’s tissue — the fascial network— because when you were nine, talking back and expressing yourself wasn’t allowed, and often met with shame or shut down. And this is the real reason why you fly off the handle with your kids, or your partner when they load the dishwasher wrong.
But it’s not just your jaw that’s creating your jaw tension — your jaw is connected to your pelvis. So when you couldn’t speak, or when you clench your jaw to hold back anger — your core (pelvis, psoas, diaphragm) had already responded.
Your patterns of protection— withdrawal, rage then collapse, pleasing for safety, freezing and moving slowly or not at all, are activated in the core first.
From there, the body receives the message to either mobilize and speak, move, breathe or contract.
So your jaw, and how you speak directly or passively, how you stand in your truth, hold your boundaries, hold the burden of your family, advocate for your child -- all of this deposited in your body bank and all of it connected to your deep core.

Your body is a bank, holding the history of your life from conception to now. And it has been making deposits a lot longer than you've been trying to make withdrawals
Your emotional deposits are unfinished responses, impulses that never completed, memories held as tension, and over time they create a physical shape. You feel them in how you clench your jaw to hold back your words, behind your shoulders when being betrayed, through your chest and throat when you’re being shut down.
This is not about becoming a different person.
It's about creating the body that can hold the person you already are.
The Body Bank is for you if:

You’ve become good at containing yourself, holding your breath, ignoring emotion, using distractions like a powerful run, constant busyness, overworking, or wine to not feel. Those have become your safe ways to get relief after years pressure through the chest and lower back because you can never fully let go.

Your child pushes back, your partner critiques you, a text lands funny, and now you’re doubting yourself, feeling unseen and dropping into low level resentment. That’s when the familiar upper body armoring activates for protection, when really you should be activating your core— your inner stability and emotional stability so you can be in your power, rather than harden to it again.

You soften or back down in conversations that matter, even with the boiler guy. You agree to a lot and say "Yes" before checking in with yourself, mostly to keep the peace, and then feel the resentment arrive later replaying what you actually wanted to say. Your throat tightens, your mid-back aches and somewhere deep down there’s still a younger part of you that learned having needs or speaking directly could cost you connection.

You keep yourself in motion because stillness doesn’t feel restful, it feels boring and lonely. The body likes to move — to clean, organize, meet with friends, fold the laundry while making dinner. There’s an energy that feels safer when things happen by you — that’s when they’re done right, and your body is intelligently protecting you from feeling your emotions by keeping in control.

You’ve spent years being the reliable one, the emotionally steady one, the one who keeps everything moving, and now your lower back locks and life is always demanding because your body never learned that the weight could be shared.
You might call these personality traits, but they’re not. They’re defense mechanisms, or adaptations that are protecting something that was never expressed.

We cover posture, shaping, emotions, energy, stability and we start reorganizing the body so you can start creating this new identity that you know is inside of you, you just can’t find your way through.

Reshaping / Whole Body

We map the energetic shape of your body by attuning to who you are in truth, and reshape it around who you aspire to be

Understand how posture, tension, and emotional patterns organize together

Find a new energetic shape that you can start embodying based on who you want to be
WEEK 02
Diaphragm & Chest

The diaphragm, lungs and heart are our strongest resource to create bodily safety so the body feels safe enough to can change

How does your breath show you when expression is not welcomed, you're holding it in, you're bracing, you're hyper-alert, you've check out or frozen.
WEEK 03
Legs & Pelvis

Your legs are your agency and the pelvis is either a bridge for energy to flow or a block

Explore agency, groundedness, and the shadow of shame: sensuality and creativity
WEEK 04
Core & Psoas

The psoas as a survival muscle - this is where fear from the past lives, frozen energy, uncertainty about moving forward

Activate your core — your inner stability, power, identity and become the most stable damn person around so you can move towards the new identity you know is inside you
WEEK 05
Heart & Throat

We open the heart, activate its fire, safety, passion and create trust in ourselves so we can become who we desire

Work with expression, integration, and emotional completion through the throat
